Homework Facts

If your family is planning a vacation during the school year, please contact me.  I will do my best to provide you with materials in advance ~ if possible.  Otherwise, materials will need to be made up once your child returns from their trip!


 
Weekly Homework 
     Packs 

 
First grade students will be receiving homework in order to reinforce skills being taught in the classroom. A homework packet will be sent home on Mondays to be completed as your schedule allows and turned in on Fridays. Although some students like to work ahead, which is fine!  Please don't return the pack until Friday. All homework needs to be completed by the student with a pencil.  Parents are encouraged to discuss the homework with their child. If your child is absent on Friday, they are required to turn in the pack the next day they return to school!  I appreciate your support in teaching students the importance of being a responsible first grader.
